Salvador da Bahia nov 28

Going to Morro de São Paulo means being very close to Salvador da Bahía, one of the most beautiful cities at Brazilian Northeast.

First Capital city of Brazil, it offers many places to be visited by tourists such as Barra’s Lighthouse just at the entrance of Bahia de Todos os Santos (All Saints’ Bay). It is the point that separates two quite different beaches: at the bay’s side, Porto da Barra with transparent, quite waters; at the other side, the Lighthouse beach, with excellent waves to surf, and wonderful point to enjoy sunsets.

Pelourinho is one of the most important neighborhoods in Salvador because it’s the most antique part of the city. With typical Portuguese architecture, it is a wonderful place to enjoy. Being here, you can visit the different churches, and Jorge Amado’s house. At night, you can enjoy of shows at “Largo do Pelourinho” square.

Do not forget to visit the “Mercado Modelo” (Model Market) where you can find lots of gifts for your friend and family and Lacerda Elevator that offers a marvelous panoramic view of the bay.

There are many other places to visit: Senhor do Bonfim Church, Itapoã Lighthouse, Tororô Dam with the Orixás statues, the beaches (Amarelina, Flamengo, Pituba, Ondina, etc.).

Take your time to enjoy this city: you will not forget it!
